My name's Jim and I'm 29 years old.

I've got one sister and I live at home with my parents. I'm very shy really and don't talk a lot unless I know someone very well, I'm not very brave in that respect.

My work is such that every week I have one day off. I'm employed for the main university here in Udon Thani where I work as a cleaner. It may sound exciting working for a university, but my job is not at all grand!

I never had enough free time to go out and enjoy myself as I'm too busy at work. When I finish work I always go straight home, we live near the city centre, so it doesn't take too long.

When I'm at home I always do the cleaning in the house and like to play with our dogs, we have three.
I like listening to music and also reading.

 I have never got as far as even talking about marriage with anyone! Up until now there have been a couple of local guys who wanted to take me out, but being very shy I always declined this.
There was one I did like, but being so shy I didn't have the nerve to talk to him.

At the age of 29 I feel I want to settle down with someone, but I need to find the perfect man first. A man who isn't shy, but fairly outgoing and knows how to talk easily to people. I always dream that if I can find the right man, he will bring me out of my shell and I can lose my shyness too. As long as he honestly loves me that would make me happy and I know I would love him back in this situation.
I like the idea of going traveling around Thailand, but up to now I've not had much opportunity to do this.
I would be very happy to go and see the country of my new husband, I've never even been on a plane before, or been abroad. At the moment I have one very close friend, but I really want to meet my husband-to-be very soon.
